Introducing Liliana De Simone, our New Volunteer

Liliana De Simone is an audio production and writing assistant at Mastering Finland. Liliana hopes to attend the University of Helsinki beginning in the Fall of 2021 to study narratological approaches to intercultural relations and social cohesion.

In Fall 2020, Liliana began volunteering with Mastering Finland to put her writing and multimedia journalism background to use helping students and early professionals in Finland. She appreciates the technical experience she gains through her work with Mastering Finland, and she is passionate about sharing important information on student mental health, migration, and employment equality in Finland.

Liliana’s primary responsibilities at Mastering Finland include writing weekly episode summaries and blog posts for our website. She also assists with audio production and works behind-the-scenes on translations for future internationalization projects.
